Real Arctic Nature — Minibus & RIBExperience the Arctic archipelago by minibus and RIB boat The trip starts by minibus from Harstad or from Aiden by Best Western at Evenes Airport, taking us out to the island world. When we arrive at Bjarkøy, we board a RIB that carries 12 passengers. Here you will be fitted with a survival suit and life vest, which are mandatory for the trip. After a quick safety briefing, we are ready for nature experiences in the Arctic archipelago. Here you can find eagles, seals, otters, whales and a wide variety of bird species. The trips are equally exciting every day, and we never quite know what we will encounter. Einar, who was born and raised in this archipelago, is the perfect guide to show you and tell you about the nature here. He has been doing this since 2007 and has extensive experience. This is pure, authentic nature experiences! Food and refreshments After about 2 hours in the boat, it’s time for some food. We bring simple refreshments such as fish soup, which can be enjoyed outdoors in nature. We go ashore to eat, weather permitting. An alternative is to eat at a local inn on Bjarkøy.
