The midnight sun is a phenomenon that occurs in latitudes north of the Arctic Circle between spring and autumn equinox. Since the sun never passes below the horizon, it is continuously visible for 24 hours in fair weather. The highest point on the hill Krøttøykollen, a short hike from Valhall Adventure Center, offers a panoramic view of the ocean, Andøy and Senja.
